Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s $4.7 million LA home burglarized
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban‘s Los Angeles, California, home was recently burglarized, The Post can confirm.
The couple were not at the posh Beverly Hills residence when the incident took place, a source said.
According to TMZ, one of the couple’s house staff was arriving at the home at the same the intruder was staging the break-in.
After smashing a glass window to gain entry to the LA residence, the burglar heard the employee approaching and ran off.
Law enforcement sources told the outlet that the incident took place over the weekend.
It’s not clear if anything was stolen, TMZ added, noting that Kidman and Urban will have to assess whether any of their property is missing.
Police have not made any arrests, though their investigation is ongoing, per the outlet.
Representatives for Kidman and Urban did not immediately respond to The Post’s requests for comment.
The “Babygirl” actress, 57, hasn’t been seen in public since the Critics Choice Awards, which were held in Santa Monica, Calif. on Feb. 7, while Urban, 57, was last spotted in the couple’s native Australia on Jan. 23.
The pair purchased the contemporary-style home located in the exclusive Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood in 2008 for $4.7 million. Built in 1965 and sitting on a 1.25-acre lot, the abode boasts five bedrooms and four and one-quarter bathrooms in roughly 4,100 square feet.
The primarily stone-and-concrete structure also has a flat-top roof, a second-floor wraparound deck, shaded patio areas, pool and views of LA’s famed canyons.
Other celebrities such as Penelope Cruz, Adele, Nicole Richie, Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Lawrence, Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have claimed the gated enclave as their home over the years.
Kidman and Urban’s LA home is just one property in their real estate portfolio, which also includes a Tribeca pied-à-terre, a Manhattan apartment, a Sydney penthouse, an Australian farm, a Nashville mansion and a Tennessee compound, per Architectural Digest.
Reports last August suggested that Kidman and Urban were at odds over whether to spend more time in Los Angeles. They’ve considered Nashville to be their home since 2007, a source told Sky News Australia at the time. But the insider added that the country singer was keen to spend more time in LA.
However, after the Oscar-winning actress’ mom died in September, they reportedly were leaning toward making Australia their permanent home base. A source told Woman’s Day in November that Kidman’s family worried she was suffering from “burnout,” per the Daily Mail.
