Thug wanted for sucker-punching man in Hasidic clothing
Cops released video on Sunday showing a man in full Hasidic garb getting sucker-punched from behind in Brooklyn — just blocks from where two Orthodox Jewish boys got attacked last week.
The victim can be seen talking to another individual, also in ultra-Orthodox clothing, right before the assault occurred Friday night.
Police said the 33-year-old was standing in front of 68 Throop Ave. in Williamsburg when a Hispanic man, between 30 and 35 years old, set upon him around 6:40 p.m.
The attack happened just one day after two Hasidic boys, ages 9 and 12, got pummeled in the same area — one near Throop and Walton Street, the other near Walton and Union avenues. Cops were investigating both incidents as hate crimes.
Officials said the Friday night victim suffered minor injuries, as did the kids. Their attackers have yet to be caught.
